  2. 2. Fair Play: A consultation on the play strategy www.dcsf.gov.uk/play This consultation set out the government’s proposals for addressing the challenges of access to good play spaces. It does this through a £235 million play programme, plus through wider actions to promote play, particularly outdoor play for 8 to 13 year olds, where feedback suggests there is a lack of current provision. Please note that the consultation period has now ended.
